I started this blog on April 15, 2005. It began as a place to talk about clay and ceramics, and just evolved into writing about life in general. I’m fairly honest, but also fairly kind. This may just mean I’m boring as hell, so reader beware. Also in my new journey into motherhood, this blog is rapidly becoming a mommy-blog, so count this as a warning.

I live in beautiful Vancouver, next to the ocean and mountains. I am married to: “The World’s Loudest Sneezer, Amateur category; 2005, 2007″.  Our beautiful son, Finn, was born on Halloween morning, 2009, and what an interesting adventure it has been getting to this point. We anticipate his love for the ocean and surfing (don’t let me down, kid!).

I’m in my early 30’s and loving it, although still a little shocked by it. I am a practicing ceramic sculptor. (practicing!) You can find my art here. Although artwork has been put on hold for a few months while I adjust to motherhood, the ideas are flowing and waiting for me to return to the studio. I’m dabbling in some collage in painting in the mean time.

So my newest hobbies include changing diapers and singing silly songs. I love it.
