time’s a tickin, yo.

On sunday I drop off my artwork at the Place Des Arts in Coquitlam for an exhibition! My friend Anne Dunnett and I are doing a show called Elemental. The opening reception is Thursday April 6th, 7:30-9:30. Come if you’re in town! I’m pretty excited and have been working hard making several new pieces for this show since January. In the next few days I have to finish firing, photo document the work, label it and box it for delivery on Sunday. No problem! I had a dream last night that I unloaded the kiln and the work was out of this world, dynamic, glowing. hehe. I guess we’ll see how prophetic this dream is on Thursday morning when I unload the kiln! I’ll keep you posted. The photos of the new work will be going up to my website, which should be up and running in a month or so. It will have a proper gallery space and other cool features that my brother is working on! YEAH! Although I will probably post a sneak peek of the artwork here while we’re waiting for the website.

Here’s the invite to the Place des Arts show- that is one of my sculptures on the right.

To follow up that excitement of the opening, my dear sister Angie will be arriving on next weekend with her new beau, Steve. They are coming up for the weekend from Oregon and I can hardly wait to see her! And meet this Mr. Good Guy that she can’t stop talking about!

ciao.

Greeting from his most fabulous and cake-worthy Lord of Mombassa! The london climate is so beautiful at the moment, and the onset of a spring pandemic is so tempting…I mean the April showers of falling Swans… I find myself unable to come and see your ex(in)hibition. I shall email five hundred bees to you next week.
Great ceramics dori, you’ve come a long way since Ipswich. I’m proud of ya!
