Studio relish…

Well, not the kind of relish that you put on hotdogs, all green and sweet, but the rather this is the relish of the feeling of getting some real creative time while sitting in my little sunlit space of heaven. It had been a long few weeks without Dustin, and so I really focused on putting my head down and worked on business development for the jewelry line. Things were going good, but when I paused working and had a moment the other day to play with some clay with a friend, I realized that I had not actually worked on something other than jewelry in OVER 8 MONTHS! Egads! So I promptly cleared my schedule, and have begun a new sculpture.

Joy is- spending 2 uninteruppted hours carving clay toes- oh just right.

And Dustin is back! He’s upstairs right now, having a relaxing evening in front of the fireplace computer. It’s good to have him home, and while he was away I did manage to PAINT! the living/dining rooms. Phew it looks so good in here, much bigger, much brighter. The walls are now cloud white, and smokey blue gray (no longer rotting fleshy pink!)… Yes, these walls are truly LOVELY! I’ll have to get photos this weekend, when I get the curtains and artwork hung back up. Wait for the before and after photos! yo!

Well, that’s all for now. My energy is low these days, but I do have more to talk about- it will have to wait…

Just be paitent! I promise I’ll be back soon.
