Life has been full of baby boy Finn and business has taken a little break for a while.

I’ve been a little slow updating the website this summer- I’ve been a little bit distracted though, as I get ready for a new addition in the household! I’m expecting my first child- Nov. 2nd due date! It’s so very exciting, and this feels like great creative timing as my business continues to grow as well.
But stay tuned, and look forward to new announcements for shows for the upcoming fall (already?!), additional stores, and ETSY is on the verge!!
We’re off to Tofino for a week, and I’m wondering what mysterious things I’ll find washed up on the beach this year? Always a source of inspiration!

Greetings all! This weekend is the opening event for 2009 Portobello West, a 2 day showing of some of the most talented group of artists and designers in Vancouver.
Lucky me, I’ll be there showing off the newest earrings and pendants for Spring, including a new 5 strand chain that I’m trying out… Come on by!

A little visual treat- here’s a shot from outside my house a couple days ago- it seems the Korean Foursquare Church is a favourite hang out for these guys:
As I was walking to the studio today I noticed the first of the flower bulbs pressing their heads out of the ground- how did it get to be Mid-February already? There is so much to do!
DAL designs is pushing out into the world, like those young bulbs, reaching for new opportunities and growth. Stay tuned to the website for new stores and connections to an online market.
The next big thing?
Portobello West Market, March 28th, 29th. This two day season opener will be featuring over 100 local designers and artists. Come check out the new work!

Greetings all you DAL designs fans! This weekend is 2 days of Portobello, and it’s the last big market of the year, so come on out and finish up your winter gift shopping. I’m introducing a new style of cording, and would love to hear your feedback.

The 12th Annual Eastside Culture Crawl!, Nov. 21-23rd, 2008
From my studio #240 in the Mergatroid Bldg, (975 Vernon Dr.) I will be showing the latest pendants and earrings from DAL designs, as well as my sculptural work that has been developing over the past year. I am delighted to be exhibiting next to Jacqueline Robins and Laura McKibbon, my very talented studio mates. Come by and see what’s new!

Once again DAL designs will be hanging out at the Rocky Mountaineer Station from noon - 6pm, along with over 100 other talented local designers and artists.

It’s that lovely time of year when the vibrant autumn leaves change and fall, and turtlenecks and boots make their return to the scene. A perfect time to scope out some new accessories for the winter months, come see what DAL designs has on offer.
